The Thema 6182 are a professional baseball team based in Phoenix, Arizona. They are members of the National League West division in Major League Baseball, and are one of the six major league franchises in the United States.
Thema is European origin, chrome tanned, aniline drum dyed and vacuum dried leather. The hides are printed with Nappa (follicle) print as with most industry high end automotive leather, but the retannage of this leather gives it a much softer hand.
The result is a leather with the consistency of Nappa, but with more natural variation in the texture of the hide and a little more stretch for workability. It is perfect for use on customs, Hotrods, and resto-mods, but works equally well in OEM replacement applications.
